July Faves // 2015

July Faves // 2015

Between finally picking out a vacation spot for the year and looking at new places to live as of the fall, July has come and gone in about a week it seems. Oh, and to top it all off it has been about 100º every single day (okay, not really but I am allowed to exaggerate a bit. right?) and when it is that hot I have NO DESIRE to do anything or go anywhere so this months favorites definitely reflect just that.

With all of my time spent indoors I have discovered Gossip Girl, such a great show, why did I not watch this while it was actually airing? The sad thing is I saw a picture of Blake Lively somewhere and I literally thought, where did she come from? Now I understand. How could I not know who Serena van der Woodsen is, how? Worth all of the time it takes to watch the six seasons.

Fairly early in the month I woke up to a beautiful spot on my forehead, it was massive and I assumed impossible to cover up. Assumptions, WRONG! Initially it was impossible then WAY in the far back of my base products container I came across two products I haven't used in about a year Make Up For Ever's Full Coverage Concealer and Tarte's Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation between the two of these I was able to completely hide it.

I have been loving Lush's Flying Fox body wash all month long, sadly it has been discontinued, but for now I will keep on using it and loving it every time. I smell like a cup of jasmine tea for the rest of the day and that is something I would never complain about.

Since apparently this is a month of rediscovering old products this Bath and Body Works White Tea & Ginger body spray must be added to the list since this bottle is about seven years old, I had forgotten I even had it. It has a refreshing citrusy ginger-ish top layer followed by much lighter tea undertone all while having a wonderful musky-ness to it. I love that I can spray a crazy amount of it on without caring because it is so cheap, for about $14 a bottle why not.

These shoes! I can wear them with almost everything! They can be dressed up or down and the versatility of that is wonderful. I remember finding a pair almost identical to these while cleaning out my Mom's closet in Mexico when I was in middle school, so when I saw these on sale a few months ago on American Eagle's website how could I not get them! Beautiful!
