Sunday's in the City! Nº 2
Two Sunday's ago Courtney and I met up for food and some new adventures around Omaha. We decided to hit up Louie M's for breakfast / lunch and as always it was one of the best meals I had all week, and of course I forgot to take pictures of the foods but trust me when I say that it is one of the best places in town for a great breakfast. After Louie M's we made our way down to the Durham Museum which is located in a beautiful building that at one time was the home to the Union Station of Omaha. It has an awesome display of train and trolley cars on the first level along with some really interesting historical displays of Omaha. Did you know that Omaha hosted the Trans - Mississippi International Exposition in 1898? I didn't know this before I moved to Omaha either. Although it still depresses me that we don't have a sweet trolley system or the remains of the fair buildings that covered 108 city blocks any longer I still absolutely love visiting the Durham as often as I can.
